Reduce Size of UPRs

Hi everyone,

If your upr is very large, you are probably using the trap Shape Collection. As you probably all know, you can copy the actual Trap Shape with its parameters into the shape collection slot and eliminate the huge unused contribution to your upr that comes from the rest of the collection. Some of you have probably avoided doing this because you have changed the scale parameter within the shape collection, so that when you do the copy and paste you don't get the same image. It is a really, really bad idea to use the shape collection scale parameter, and following this email I will not accept any submission that uses the shape collection. All hope is not lost, however. Make sure when you are using the shape collection to find your trap shape that you use it within a TrapShape Block. You can now change the image to exactly reproduce the results of the scale parameter in shape collection. Trap scale, a parameter in Trap Position, is precisely the reciprocal of scale within the shape collection. For example, if you found that scale = 3 gave you the image you wanted, change it back to 1 and instead change the trap scale parameter within Trap Position to 1/3, or 0.3333. Now you can copy and paste to get the image you desire without the large overhead that the shape collection brings with it.
