Hi Drago,
Browse to change the formula of a fractal, right-click on ether the "formulas" folder or the "public" folder and then select "Find Entries" from the menu then just type "quaternion" in the top box and press return and you'll find a considerable number of formulas using quaternions some of which produce "normal" 2D fractals and some producing 3D raytraced fractals - also see the 3D formulas in reb.ufm (3D Fractal RayTrace for 3D fractals).
