PlugIn

A Class that can be 'plugged in' a PlugIn slot of another class to extend its functionality. A PlugIn slot can be likened to a port on a computer, for example DVI (digital video) port, LAN port, LPT printer port, USB port, etc. In this analogy a PlugIn would correspond to the device that is connected to the port, for example a USB port might connect to a camera, printer, scanner, etc.
Just as a device might also have ports, a PlugIn can have slots for other PlugIns, for example a Wrapper which could be thought of as a USB Hub.
Like a port, a slot can accept only certain type of connections. In UF5, the browser will always display only those classes that can be plugged into the slot.
PlugIn slots are identified by a bold PlugIn name followed by a browser button in the right hand column of the Formula, Inside, or Outside tabs of the Layer Properties tool window. PlugIn slots are often referred to as just 'PlugIns', for example 'Orbit Traps has Trap Position and Trap Shape PlugIns.'

PlugIns are also called classes. I use the term 'PlugIn' because that is what was used in some of the first emails that were sent out after UF5 was released. There are two UPRs below. Look at the parameters in the first and you will see 'Shape Collection' and 'Flower' each to the right of a 'Trap Shape' label. These are PlugIns. The browse/load icon will be on the far right. Note that both of these two UPRs look the same.
If you follow the directions I gave in my last email you should be able to take the 'Before_Example' and make it look like the 'After_Example' with just a quick copy and a paste. ( see Replace Collections )
Note you are right clicking on the browse/load icon for each PlugIn to find the copy and paste commands.
