Plane and Sphere Raytracing

A sphere and plane raytracing formula that I have been working on almost from the beginning of the beta testing on UF has been uploaded to the database. Its still missing a piece that I haven't been able to debug yet, and it does have a few bugs because of the complexity of the code. I have been able to create some interesting images with it, however, and since at least 90% of the functionality I wanted to have in it is there, I have made the current version public. I have also included a upr, which is also shown on my website and can be seen at the link [1].

The upr has images, and I have updated the zip file on my web site to include them.

This example uses no images, but it takes UF to the limit. The upr is a recursive sphere inversion with an initial sphere configuation of tetrahedral. It is a fractal. The fractal dimension is about 1.3 - 1.4. In this case the death star like sphere has been sliced so that some of the internal structure can be seen.
