Monniers SFBM II Texture is a Trap Texture in reb.ulb
Sam Monnier has kindly given me permission to convert his S.F.B.M. II coloring formula to a Trap Shape. The new trap shape is now in reb.ulb, so if you do an update should should get it. Here is a modification of the sample upr for Challenge #4 that uses Sam's texture. It is listed as "Monnier's S.F.B.M. II Texture".

In Lighting with Textures, would it be redundant to use Monnier's S.F.B.M II Texture both in the Texture Slot and in the Trap Shape slot of the ColorTrapShape Block in the Colors Slot?

Its not redundant. You can get some cool effects that way. Look at the tutorial_20 upr (the last upr) in the Trap Transfer Bias tutorial.
