Inside
From Ultrafractal Wiki
Inside points are any points of an "escape-time" (or "orbits") fractal for which the fractal "orbit" does not bail out before reaching the "iteration limit" (or "maxiter").
This distinction is detected by UltraFractal during the execution of a formula for the purposes of applying a different coloring method (if desired) to inside and outside points.
Relation to Convergence
This concept is related to convergence and divergence, but the two do not always equate with each other as it is very much up to the formula what happens with regards to sidedness and con, or di-vergence.
Informally the "lake"
See Fractal Lake which informally describes a similar concept.
