Copyright and Watermark
From Ultrafractal Wiki
You can do your own watermarking. But digital watermarking is hidden within the picture. You have to use a PlugIn to put it there and a PlugIn to read it. Since its not visible it is harder to notice and remove. And it is another check.
I try to do 4 things...
- A visible watermark
- A digital watermark
- A copyright notice in the meta data
- A file name with my name in it.
I know that won't actually stop anyone who is determined to steal my work. But it is better than nothing and might be enough most of the time.

Hi Drago,
In addition to Margaret's suggestions, you can also try registering your images with TinEye [www.tineye.com] and keep track of who copies them and where they post them on the Internet. It is still an incipient service, but if you're being targeted, the service can be of help in gathering evidence of wrongdoing.
Take care,
Ruy
