Add a Sphere

Below are a couple of layers that show a sphere by itself. The are many ways to create spheres. I use Orbit Traps (UF3) here. The primary settings important to playing with single shapes with Orbit Traps are:
Trap Mode == trap only Trap Coloring == distance Trap Shape == point
Note you can use this same Coloring Algorithm to make other shapes such as eggs and hearts. Play with Trap Shape.
If you turn off the top layer, you will see a spere on a transparent background. The difference between the two layers is in the Gradient. Select the second layer and hit F4 (or select gradient icon from the icon bar). Note the bottom row of Gradient window controls transparency. Play with the node and see what happens. Also see how the sphere has a slightly soft edge. I find a slightly soft edge makes shapes integrate better with other layers.
