Identifying Classes

I have chosen to refer to classes by their Title rather than the Class Identifier. The Title is what shows up when working with Ultra Fractal (UF) and also in the UF browser in the left-most column. The Title is also most often used in discussions. Unfortunately the Online Formula Reference doesn't mention the Titles so this makes it hard to find the classes there! Of course sometimes the Class Identifier also shows up in discussions. You can usually tell the difference in discussions since the Class Title has spaces between words and the Class Identifier doesn't.

I have edited the contents of emails to correct things like 'Trap location' for 'Trap Position' which might be confusing. I've also wiki-ized many of the terms so they will link. Of course the original author might not approve of my changes, hopefully it won't be a problem.

In some cases the email data I had didn't include the author's name so there is no attribution given. I apologize for this and intend to include the author's name in all future additions.

Tweaking

Unless explicitly described as 'tweaks allowed' or other indication is given that changes are permitted, all UPRs in this wiki should be used for study and as examples only and neither the UPR nor any part should be used as a basis for your own work without permission of the author.

This wiki isn't 'complete'. It will keep growing as additional emails and other content become available and I feel it is worthwhile updating. If you have content you would like included please email me about it. Note For Authors

Improving the Wiki

There are no doubt many errors in the wiki. When you encounter one that isn't on the Known Problems page I would appreciate it if you could point it out to me (Don Berendsen) in an email.

Please include the page name and a copy of the erroneous text or description of the problem along with your proposed correction.

Hosting

This wiki is hosted by Christian Kleinhuis who runs the FractalForums. Come over to the forum and join in the discussions.
